Gourmet cooking, playing with our Wheaten Terriers, gardening (until about mid-August, then I'm ready for a good freeze:) ).
If you have a problem, I may be able to help! I'm the consumer watch reporter and 5pm news anchor for KWTV News9. I've been in Oklahoma for about 2 1/2 years and moved here from San Antonio with my husband, Nick Hilton, who's a realtor with Remax Preferred. We have 2 babies - William and Sonoma - our Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers. If you couldn't tell by their names, my passion is cooking. I enjoy making something fancy at least once and week and I've found when it comes to desserts I can't go wrong if I choose a receipe from Paula Deen.
Proverbs, Chapter 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding. 6In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. This is one of those verses that helps remind that even if I don't quite get it, He does, and He's in control.
Thanks for reading, Amanda. It’s interesting to hear your voice in a different medium. I’m glad you and Nick are at MRCC!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share God’s Word with me. I am really moved by the whole life story of Jacob and how God worked in his life.

“. . .Give, and it will be given to you, pressed down. . .“ For all that you do to lift another person up in their suffering, God will bless you even more than he already has! Thank you for being a part of this wonderful outreach.

The book contains thoughtful commentaries to accompany each story. These commentaries are not included in the readings, but we encourage you to get a copy of the book and read along.
